Conservation Collection's Critically Endangered books are a children's non-fiction series featuring an A to Z listing of only Critically Endangered animals currently listed by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) on their Red List of Threatened Species. The books feature the common and scientific names of each species, where they are found, how many may be left in the world, a full-colour illustration and fun facts about each animal.

With much dedication and research undertaken for these books, Conservation Collection's Critically Endangered book series hopes to present to young readers the importance of conserving and preserving our environment and the wildlife that lives within those habitats.

The Critically Endangered book series is a collection of 4 books which are purchased separately. If you would like to purchase all 4 books, please add them individually to your cart.

Book 1 - Critically Endangered Mammals

Critically Endangered Mammals currently listed by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Red List of Threatened Species. It features beautiful hand-drawn watercolour illustrations of each species; along with the common and scientific names, where they are found, threats, how many may be left in the world and fun facts about each animal.

Book 2 - Critically Endangered Reptiles

Finalist: International Book Awards 2023

Following the success of Conservation Collection's Book One Critically Endangered: Mammals, Book Two, Reptiles, introduces young readers to rare and critically endangered reptiles and what they look like in order to inspire the next generation of herpetological conservationists. This book will take the reader across continents to learn about these reptiles from around the world, and why we should care for all endangered species.

Book 3 - Critically Endangered Birds

The third instalment of the Conservation Collection's Critically Endangered series; Book ThreeBirds, introduces young readers to exotic and critically endangered birds and the threats they face in the wild in order to inspire the next generation of avian enthusiasts and conservationists. This book will take the reader across continents to learn about these birds from around the world, and why we should care for all endangered species and their habitats.

Book 4 - Invertebrates

The fourth and final book in this series, Conservation Collection's Critically Endangered: Invertebrates, highlights for young readers the often-forgotten species of the world. While not as cuddly as our mammals, these invertebrates dazzle with colour and their adaptations against the threats they face in the wild, and this book brings awareness to their plight and aims to inspire the next generation of entomologists, invertebrate researchers and conservationists.
